Basically disconnect the return side of the transmission cooler line, start up the truck and empty out the pan. Remove the pan, clean and replace filter. Once back together, fill up the pan and start up the truck again. Do this one more time or until you see the color of the new fluid. One thing interesting is there is a double O ring with a weep channel that is supposed to take the fluid back to the block.
