I doubt you would lose your powers if you changed alignments, but the quest line is about doing some good deeds. I doubt you'd get the Gold Dragon transformation at Mythic 9 if you did the opposite of what the quest wanted.

The problem (mythic path asides) is that imho it's Owlcat that needs to broaden their idea of what Lawful is, because literally every lawful choice in this game is lawful neutral at best and lawful evil at worst, and generally tending towards the latter. If you do lose eveything a good thing about the trickster is that perception 2 trick unlock the improved improved critical feats, so if you take those before going into golden dragon, you wouldn't lose them since they are not technicaly part of the mythic path. Doubling your level seems way more effective for a martial than some extra spells and abilities. Mythic class abilities are much stronger than class abilities, by a lot. Also the big thing holding legend back imo is not getting any more attacks and the fact that you can get all of the feats you want by level 20. There are also 3 others that aren't yet available in the beta. Swarm-that-walks, presumably very Evil but non spellcaster, Golden Dragon, presumably either Dragon-related, and Legend path, which is supposed to be a "True Neutral" mythic path. They basically reshuffled the mythic path into different sets.
