Posted February 17, 2020. Looking at these two and trying to decide the better buy. Not a ton of difference in price. Anyone know which boat is faster? Is one much faster than the other? I would think 92" beam (Ranger) vs 89" beam (Tracker) could make a big difference. Ultrex install on Ranger RT178. I had a minn kota edge installed on the boat from the factory. Four of the existing 6 holes lined up. It looks like it hangs over a lot but so did the edge. If I moved it more inboard the head hung off the boat more.
